About this survey
Fourteen broadband magnetotelluric soundings on Liejun Wang's fifteen site traverse across the Adelaide Geosyncline, South Australia, running 284 km from the Stuart Shelf west of Port Augusta east to the western margin of the Murray Basin. Wang recorded five channels at each site with an EMI MT-1 and 200 m dipoles for his Flinders MSc, published as Wang and Chamalaun (1995).
The transfer functions served here are not Wang's own estimates. They are Ali Moradzadeh's independent reanalysis of Wang's raw time series, tabulated in Appendix II of his 1998 Flinders PhD thesis, and they reach this package through a 2021 WinGLink re-export of those tables. Every station carries the full impedance tensor over 39 or 41 periods from 0.0083 s to 833 s, and thirteen a tipper. No per period uncertainty survives; static shift is recorded, not applied. Depot Hill, the fifteenth site, has no tabulated values in any source held.
