A broadband magnetotelluric survey of the Rendelsham grid, one of the four grids of the Limestone
Coast MT Project, in the Otway Basin of South Australia, north west of Millicent.
Quantec Geoscience Pty Ltd acquired it for Panax Geothermal Ltd on GEL 173 between 12 August and
30 September 2008, as project AU00049S, to map the depth to basement and any conductive zones at
2 to 5 km that might hold a geothermal reservoir. Soundings were remote referenced tensor
measurements with three induction coils per site on Quantec RT-130 loggers, processed with QGI
QuickLay 3.0_Alpha.23 and exported by Geotools 2.3. The grid acquired 42 sites; the 39 that carry
an edited transfer function are served here, byte identical to the custodian's files, on 36 to 45
periods from 0.0042 to 4369 s. Data origin: SARIG dataset record mesac1113, documented by open
file envelope 11578, record mesac35384, and SA Geodata electrical survey 16, RENDELSHAM.
