Twenty-one long-period magnetotelluric soundings on a north-trending profile across the Redbank Thrust Zone in central Australia, Northern Territory.
About this survey
Twenty-one long-period magnetotelluric soundings on a north-trending profile across the Redbank Thrust Zone in central Australia, Northern Territory. Eighteen labels run rtz1 to rtz22 with four absent, and three sites are infill, i2 to i4. The chord from rtz1 to rtz22 is 137.0 km and the line bows up to 22.4 km west of it. Every site declares Ex, Ey, Hx, Hy, Hz, every file carries a tipper, and the transfer functions span 16 s to 2,731 s on a 23 point ladder. Selway (2006) records the fieldwork as three seasons in 2003, 2004 and 2005, the code RRRMT with jackknife errors, and the Alice Springs magnetic observatory as the remote reference. These are the soundings behind Selway, Heinson and Hand (2006), which reports a 140 km line imaging a crustal-scale conductivity contrast at the thrust zone. The served files are a 2026 Geotools export; the elevations and per-station dates it dropped are stated as unknown.
