About this survey

A prospect scale broadband magnetotelluric survey over the Hillside iron oxide copper gold deposit on eastern Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, recorded by Adelaide University between 21 March and 7 July 2012 in two field phases, 45 stations in March and 28 in July. Seventy-two of the 73 soundings are served here and one is withheld. They cover about 2 km east to west by 3 km north to south, and include a 15 station profile, HSSL01 to HSSL15, along a seismic line. Each site logged Ex, Ey, Hx and Hy at 1000 Hz on an Earth Data PR6-24 with LEMI-120 induction coils on dipoles of 34 to 51 m; Hz was recorded everywhere but not processed, so no file carries a tipper. Transfer functions were computed with BIRRP 5.1 against a remote site and are served as the delivered splice of the remote referenced short period and decimated long period results, 46 periods from 0.0064 to 218.4 s.
