Fifty seven magnetotelluric soundings along Geoscience Australia's deep crustal seismic reflection transect 09GA-GA1, recorded between May and July 2009 across the western Georgina Basin and the Arunta region of the Northern Territory. Thirty nine broadband sites, GB01 to GB39, sit 6.8 to 10.9 km apart along 339 km of line; eighteen long period sites, GL01 to GL18, sit 14.7 to 20.0 km apart, and seventeen of them share ground with a broadband site to within 17 m. The broadband files carry Ex, Ey, Hx and Hy over 32 periods from 0.002 s to 131 s; the long period files add Hz and a tipper over 26 periods from 2 s to 13,107 s. Recording used AuScope Earth Data PR 6-24 loggers, induction coils at the broadband sites and a three component fluxgate at the long period sites, with dipoles averaging 50 m, processed at Geoscience Australia with BIRRP. The tensors are served as stored: no file declares a rotation.
