Magnetotelluric transfer functions were accessed through AusMT, Australia's Magnetotelluric Data Portal (https://ausmt.auscope.org.au), enabled by AuScope and the Australian Government via the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).

A broadband magnetotelluric survey was conducted across the Burra region of the Northern Mount Lofty Ranges within the Adelaide Rift Complex, South Australia, funded by Ausmex Minerals.

About this survey

A broadband magnetotelluric survey was conducted across the Burra region of the Northern Mount Lofty Ranges within the Adelaide Rift Complex, South Australia, funded by Ausmex Minerals. The survey covers a rectangular grid spanning approximately 80 km west-east and 120 km north-south, an area of roughly 9,600 square kilometres, at an average site spacing of about 10 km, acquired in two phases: an 11-site trial deployment in October 2017 followed by the main regional survey between July and October 2018, with the trial sites forming an integral component of the dataset. Acquisition used LEMI-423 systems hosted by the University of Adelaide through the AuScope ANSIR Research Facility for Earth Sounding, supported under the Australian Government's NCRIS. This package carries the 83 released EDI transfer function files.
