Digitisation:\nGDS/GDS_AusMT/wp-robe-profile-1976/table1-induction-arrows.csv.\n\nCONVENTION: Table 1's caption states that A0, A90 are the 0 and 90 phase\namplitude ratios (+/-0.05) and that theta0, theta90 are the induction angles\n(+/-5 deg) with respect to TRUE north, 'theta0 has had 180 deg added to it\nto reverse its direction'.  The printed theta0 is therefore already a\nsign-reversed polar Parkinson arrow angle and converts directly:\nTXR = -A0.cos(theta0)      TYR = -A0.sin(theta0)\ntheta90 was NOT reversed, so it is a raw tipper azimuth:\nTXI =  A90.cos(theta90)    TYI =  A90.sin(theta90)\n(Undoing the +180 and then using the un-reversed formula is the identical\noperation; doing both a subtraction and a sign reversal would\ndouble-reverse.)\n\nVARIANCES: TXVAR.EXP and TYVAR.EXP propagate the paper's stated +/-0.05\namplitude and +/-5 deg angle onto the components,\nvar(Tx) = (cos A . sA)^2 + (R . sin A . sTheta)^2,\nvar(Ty) = (sin A . sA)^2 + (R . cos A . sTheta)^2, sTheta in radians,\naveraged over the in-phase and quadrature pairs.  The paper describes these\nas the scatter in the estimates across several data lengths (Fig. 4\ncaption); it does not name them a standard deviation or a standard error.\n\nFRAME: geographic (the paper says 'with respect to true north'). FIELDWORK:\nNovember-December 1976.  No per-station acquisition date is published, so\nACQDATE is deliberately absent rather than filled with a boilerplate value.\n\nSTATION: ROBE (3-component).  lands exactly on Robe township (validates\nmodel) COORDINATES: Fig.1 map digitisation +-0.15deg (ROBE/PAN/CON anchor on\ntowns) The profile's inland reference station MIL does not appear in Table 1\nand is therefore not minted; the seven Table 1 stations are. Dates in this\nfile are ISO 8601."
