 "abstract": "Ninety long-period magnetotelluric soundings on the Stuart Shelf, South Australia, recorded by Adelaide University between 12 February and 28 June 2009 across the cover sequences above the eastern Gawler Craton. The soundings sit on a broad grid, 8.3 km between nearest neighbours at the median and 290 km end to end. Each site recorded Ex, Ey, Hx, Hy and Hz at 10 Hz on a Bartington fluxgate with orthogonal dipoles of 12 to 50 m, 81 occupations on Earth Data PR6-24 recorders and 16 on the Adelaide-Flinders Orange Box, and was processed to transfer functions with BIRRP. Served periods run 10.7 s to 8,192 s, 16 to 20 periods a sounding, and every file carries a tipper. The survey's own field record holds 97 occupations; seven are named in the archive without a released transfer function. README.md carries the caveats.",

  "changes_summary": "The ACQDATE and FILEDATE values of all 90 served files were rewritten from day/month/year into ISO 8601 by _tools/repair_edi_header_dates.py, and a nine line record was inserted after each file's >INFO line naming the collection file, its path in the node, its sha256, the kept copy, the defect, the change, the basis and the ruling. No other byte of any file was changed: no data block, no other header line, no padding and no line ending. Proved file by file against provenance/as-delivered/ when this package was built: 180 date lines rewritten, 810 record lines inserted, every rewritten line keeping its exact width, no other line touched on any of the 90, and the data blocks token for token identical on all 90. The basis is that the collection writes day first: 69 of the 88 ACQDATE values in date form and 73 of the 90 FILEDATE values carry a day above 12, neither field carries a month above 12 in any of the 90 files, and read day first 63 of the 88 equal the start date the survey's station metadata sheet records for that station while read month first none of them does. The two files that print a time of day instead of a date, SA_STS_14 and SA_STS_92, took the sheet's start date for their station because the tool refuses to invent one. Read as delivered, mt_metadata took 17 starts month first and gave those two the date it ran; read on the served copies, all 90 station starts and all 90 provenance.creation_time values equal the day-first header date. Only the filenames are AusMT's: the node names every file SA_STS_nn.edi and each served file is named by the DATAID the file itself carries. No number, no position, no elevation, no frame and no gate verdict is altered.",
