Geophys. 20, 187-190.\n\nCONVENTION: Appendix III prints TX, TY as 'the real parts of the transfer\nfunctions in the x (northward) and y (eastward) directions', so\nTXR/TXI/TYR/TYI are the printed values with no sign change.  The printed\nANGLE column satisfies ANGLE = atan2(-TY,-TX) + d, the sign-reversed polar\nParkinson convention, and the printed RADIUS equals hypot(TX,TY) on 446 of\nthe appendix's 450 rows.\n\nFRAME: the thesis says both the components and the angles are geographic,\nbut its own numbers contradict that: ANGLE - atan2(-TY,-TX) is a constant\nper station, matching the South Australian declination, so one of the two is\nreferenced to magnetic north.  The components are written here exactly as\nprinted; the constant implied for THIS station is quoted below.  No rotation\nhas been applied.\n\nVARIANCES: Appendix III's column key defines SD as 'the standard deviation\n(error) of the real and imaginary parts of the transfer functions', one\nvalue for the real pair and one for the imaginary pair.  TXVAR.EXP and\nTYVAR.EXP are the mean of the two squared SDs.  CAUTION: the printed SD\n(0.000 to 0.004) is an order of magnitude smaller than the same table's\nprinted 1SE on the arrow radius; the two printed uncertainties are not\nmutually consistent.\n\nSTATION: VER Verran Hill.  Deployment directory 'Eyredata-1', window\n1988-02. COORDINATES: Kusi Table 3.1, printed 33:47:24S / 136:8:24E.
