"abstract": "Twenty-seven long-period magnetotelluric soundings on a 386 km transect through central Australia, running north from the Northern Territory border near 26 S to 22.87 S along the 133.2 to 133.9 E corridor and crossing, on position against published boundaries, the Arunta region at the latitude of Alice Springs. Stations CAL01 to CAL27 lie in geographic order from the southern end, a median 15.0 km apart and never closer than 7.1 km. Each recorded Ex, Ey, Hx, Hy and Hz on dipoles of 43 to 50 m, with a second Hx and Hy pair declared as a remote reference that names no site. The transfer functions span 10.7 s to 16,384 s, 18 to 22 periods a station, and every file carries a tipper. The served bytes are a 2025 Geotools export; BIRRP behind it is the owner's ruling of 2026-09-18 and no file states it. The acquisition year comes from two headers of twenty-seven.",
