 "abstract": "Broadband and long-period magnetotelluric transfer functions from the Capricorn Orogen transect, Western Australia, acquired by the University of Adelaide in October and November 2010 along the deep reflection seismic lines 10GA-CP1, 10GA-CP2 and 10GA-CP3, funded through the Western Australian Government's Royalties for Regions program and AuScope. The survey occupied 156 sites across three transects spanning approximately 500 km: 116 broadband sites (200 to 0.005 Hz) at 5 km spacing using LEMI-120 induction coils, and 40 long-period sites (0.1 to 0.0001 Hz) at 15 km spacing using Bartington MAG-03 fluxgate magnetometers, with the vertical magnetic field recorded only at the long-period sites. The transect complements the coincident seismic imaging of the orogen's crustal architecture, including the Errabiddy Shear Zone suture between the Yilgarn Craton and the Gascoyne Province and the faulted southern margin of the Pilbara Craton. This package carries 147 released EDI transfer function files, 111 broadband and 36 long period; the remaining nine occupied sites have no released transfer function.",
