The September 2002\nconversion read integer-printed register coordinates under an\nimplied-decimal format and corrupted six NCI files that way (-32 became\n-0.32); reading the register directly avoids it, and every coordinate\nwritten here has been checked to fall inside continental Australia.\n\nNO ACQDATE is written.  The September 2002 conversion stamped the date\n01/01/1994 and the acquirer 'Flinders University' on all 368 NCI files\nregardless of array; both are boilerplate and never a provenance signal.\n\nVARIANCES: the register prints NO uncertainty columns for this station's\nrows, so TXVAR.EXP and TYVAR.EXP are OMITTED rather than fabricated.\n\nThis station does NOT appear in Paul (1994)'s station table or Table 3A.1,\nso unlike the other thirteen EDI-less code-3 stations it is minted from the\nregister rather than from the primary print.\n\nIDENTITY: register STATION_ID 55, FULL_NAME Seismic_Line_North, SHO SLN,\nREFERENCE_CODE 3, register E_LONG 140, S_LAT -29.9, MAG_DEC 7.898. Identity\nis the STATION_ID plus the coordinate, never the three-letter SHO code: SHO\ncodes collide across the compilation (five KOOs, three MORs and MUNs, two\nNORs, GREs, WARs and DARs).
