  "note": "Tipper transfer functions converted from the compilation register\nGDS/registry/AllStationData.lst, joined to GDS/registry/AllStationName.lst.\nThe register is Liejun Wang's Australian Electromagnetic Database as\nsupplied to the NCI compilation; the NCI rendition filed under this name\ncarries STATION_ID 41's arrows, not this station's, for the reason described\nbelow.\n\nCONVENTION: the register stores induction arrows in sign-reversed polar\nParkinson form, R_ANGLE = atan2(-Ty,-Tx) measured clockwise from north and\nR_RADIUS = hypot(Tx,Ty), so\nTXR = -R_RADIUS.cos(R_ANGLE)    TYR = -R_RADIUS.sin(R_ANGLE)\nTXI = -Q_RADIUS.cos(Q_ANGLE)    TYI = -Q_RADIUS.sin(Q_ANGLE).\n\nCOORDINATES are the register's PRINTED values.  The September 2002\nconversion read integer-printed register coordinates under an\nimplied-decimal format and corrupted six NCI files that way (-32 became\n-0.32); reading the register directly avoids it, and every coordinate\nwritten here has been checked to fall inside continental Australia.\n\nNO ACQDATE is written.  The September 2002 conversion stamped the date\n01/01/1994 and the acquirer 'Flinders University' on all 368 NCI files\nregardless of array; both are boilerplate and never a provenance signal.\n\nVARIANCES: the register prints NO uncertainty columns for this station's\nrows, so TXVAR.EXP and TYVAR.EXP are OMITTED rather than fabricated.\n\nIDENTITY TRAP: AllStationName.lst prints STATION_ID 41 twice, to Booborowie\n(BOO) and to this station, and prints no row for 42, whose arrow rows\nAllStationData.lst does carry.  The name file is sorted ascending, so\nCondowie occupies the vacant 42 slot.  Paul (1994) Table 3A.1 confirms it:\nhis CONDOWIE II panel reproduces the id-42 rows to 0.00076 and the id-41\nrows only to 0.11, and his BOOBOROWIE panel the reverse.  Reading the name\nfile by STATION_ID alone silently serves Booborowie's arrows under both\nnames.\n\nIDENTITY: register STATION_ID 42, FULL_NAME Condowie, SHO CNN,\nREFERENCE_CODE 3, register E_LONG 138.4, S_LAT -33.8, MAG_DEC 7.958.\nIdentity is the STATION_ID plus the coordinate, never the three-letter SHO\ncode: SHO codes collide across the compilation (five KOOs, three MORs and\nMUNs, two NORs, GREs, WARs and DARs). Dates in this file are ISO 8601."
