Sourced from the Geological Survey of Western Australia's WA Array long-period magnetotelluric programme, first data release, licensed CC BY 4.0 as stated by the survey's own field metadata sheet. The header dates of all 179 served copies have been repaired; the delivered files are kept unaltered under provenance/as-delivered/ and every change is recorded in the served file itself.

This LICENSE.txt travels with the data files in this archive. The transfer functions were
distributed via the AusMT portal, which serves only openly licensed Australian magnetotelluric
releases; the licence above is the custodian's, set in the survey's survey.yaml. Reuse under the
terms of that licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

Changes were made: The served set is 179 of the 180 delivered files: the delivery carries station MBV20 twice and the rendition written by the delivery's dominant exporter is served, the other being recorded with its digest in provenance/served-files.json. No station is withheld. All 179 served files had their ACQDATE and FILEDATE values rewritten into ISO 8601 by _tools/repair_edi_header_dates.py, and a nine line record was inserted after each file's >INFO line naming the delivered file, its path in the delivery, its sha256, the kept copy, the defect, the change, that file's own exporter with the order measured over the files it wrote, and the ruling. 177 were read month first and 2, MBS24 and MBX22, day first, each on its own exporter's evidence. On 57 of the 179 the ACQDATE printed no date at all, 55 as the placeholder 01/01/01 and 2 as 1 / 1 / 4; each was set to that station's start date in the owner's field sheet, named to the tool one file at a time. No other byte of any file was changed: no data block, no other header line, no padding beyond what a changed value's width moved, and no line ending, proved file by file against provenance/as-delivered/. No number, no frame and no gate verdict is altered by the repair.. AusMT serves derived renditions (canonical EMTF XML; MTH5 where available) generated from the deposited files; per-station conditioning notes are recorded in the machine-readable products.
