This LICENSE.txt travels with the data files in this archive. The transfer functions were
distributed via the AusMT portal, which serves only openly licensed Australian magnetotelluric
releases; the licence above is the custodian's, set in the survey's survey.yaml. Reuse under the
terms of that licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

Changes were made: NINE OF THE 24 SERVED FILES ARE DERIVED AND NO VALUE IS ALTERED IN ANY OF THEM; ONE OF THE NINE, RM0111, ALSO HAS ITS X AND Y LABELS INTERCHANGED UNDER THE OWNER RULING OF 2026-09-18. At the nine line RM01 sites the delivery gives two bands of one recording, and under the owner ruling of 2026-09-18 the two are served as one file until the survey is reprocessed and new EDIs are served. The tool is _tools/merge_edi_bands.py: it prepends every second-band frequency strictly below the broadband band's floor to every data block, drops the overlapping second-band frequencies in favour of the broadband estimates, copies every token as printed, keeps the broadband file's header and inserts a ten-line derivation record after the >INFO line naming both delivered files, both sha256 digests, the counts and period ranges added and dropped, the basis and this ruling. The 18 delivered files behind those nine are kept byte-identical under provenance/as-delivered/ and their digests are recorded per row in provenance/served-files.json. The other 15 served files are byte-identical to the custodian files they came from, and every digest was recomputed against the SARIG delivery, the upload set copy and the served copy when this package was built. Only the filename is otherwise AusMT's: the upload set prefixes every name with RENMARK_ because that tree is flat, and the served name drops the prefix so the stem is the published station id. The published station identifiers are declared in the station_ids block below rather than by rewriting any file, and each EDI's own DATAID survives as site_name. Two defective positions in the delivered headers, at RM0107 and RM0227, are served as stored and are stated in README.md, in processing.notes and in this file; neither is repaired, because the reader does not refuse either file.. AusMT serves derived renditions (canonical EMTF XML; MTH5 where available) generated from the deposited files; per-station conditioning notes are recorded in the machine-readable products.
