Header dates have been repaired in 27 of the 50 served copies; every source file behind a repaired copy is kept unaltered under provenance/as-delivered/ and every change is recorded in the served file itself.

This LICENSE.txt travels with the data files in this archive. The transfer functions were
distributed via the AusMT portal, which serves only openly licensed Australian magnetotelluric
releases; the licence above is the custodian's, set in the survey's survey.yaml. Reuse under the
terms of that licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

Changes were made: The served set is 50 of the 56 soundings the collection holds for this survey. Six are withheld: pb36, because its estimate is defective rather than its convention, and pb23, pb30, pb34, pb35 and pb53, which the engine's sign gate refuses with the x/y axis-swap signature and which are withheld under owner ruling 2026-09-19 (the YMB057 precedent), applied by precedent because the owner has not ruled on them individually. Every withheld station's source file is kept unaltered under provenance/as-delivered/ with the evidence in provenance/served-files.json. 23 served files are byte identical to their source file. The other 27, all from the 2010 original broadband rendition, have their ACQDATE and FILEDATE values rewritten from day/month/year into ISO 8601 by _tools/repair_edi_header_dates.py, with nine lines inserted after each file's >INFO line naming the source file, its path in the collection, its sha256, the kept copy, the defect, the change, the basis, the ruling and the tool. Nothing else in any file is changed: no data block, no other header line, no padding and no line ending, proved file by file against provenance/as-delivered/. Only the filenames are AusMT's, and they are each file's own DATAID. The basis for reading the delivery day first is that across the 56 files of that rendition no ACQDATE and no FILEDATE value carries a month above 12, the ACQDATE months are 03 and 05 only, the day fields reach 21 and 31, and 55 of the 56 ACQDATE values print the four-digit 2010, which is what the two-digit FILEDATE year 10 was resolved to. No number, no position, no frame and no gate verdict is altered by the repair.. AusMT serves derived renditions (canonical EMTF XML; MTH5 where available) generated from the deposited files; per-station conditioning notes are recorded in the machine-readable products.
